To get in the festive spirit everyone in the Agency took part in an end of year presentation, showcasing the many projects we have worked on this year. We also exchanged Secret Santa presents, ate mince pies and danced to Christmas music.
Each year we put on our Christmas jumpers and raise some money for charity. This year our chosen charity is Evelina hospital, a specialist NHS hospital which is part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This charity is close to our hearts as one of our teams’ 4-year-old son, Evan, was diagnosed with SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia), a condition when the heart beats much faster than normal and he was placed in the hospitals care.
Evan recently had an operation at Evelina’s to enable him to come off Beta Blockers and go back to be a very active little boy. With the help of the hospitals dedicated staff, the operation was a great success and we are all delighted that Evan can enjoy his Christmas with his family, causing havoc no doubt!
